13 mechanisms killed · cloth data real · mechanism unknown
We ran the Shroud of Turin through the K framework. Not to prove anything — to find what holds and what doesn’t. The honest result: the cloth data is real and well-documented. The mechanism is unknown. The kill list IS the finding.
What the cloth shows
200nm surface-only cellulose oxidation. No paint, dye, or pigment of any kind. The discoloration is a chemical change in the fibers themselves.
3D information encoded. The VP-8 image analyzer (NASA planetary imaging) produces correct 3D relief from the Shroud image. No other flat artwork does this. Image intensity is proportional to body-cloth distance.
Real human blood, type AB, deposited BEFORE image formation. No image exists under the bloodstains.
Carbon dating contested. Sample heterogeneity p=0.0043 (Casabianca 2019) — consistent with a medieval repair patch.
What it requires
~850 J of 193nm VUV radiation delivered in microseconds. No known natural or human process produces this from a human body. 13 mechanisms tested. All failed.
Tryptophan superradiance — 280nm only, 6J total vs 850J required. KILLED.
ATP/mitochondrial gradients — 19–89× too low per quantum. KILLED.
Water coherence domain collapse — 12.06 eV state doesn’t exist in liquid water. Dephasing 9 orders too fast. KILLED.
Still open: Nobody has measured VUV emission from dying tissue in vacuum. This experiment has not been done.
Status: The cloth is anomalous. Every mechanism we could construct has been killed. The kills ARE the contribution. Anyone who claims to know how the image was formed is ahead of the evidence.
