Every page on this site is the same idea measured at a different scale. The map shows the connections. K is the thread. Pull it and everything comes with it.
K here is everything. Every domain on this site is the same shape measured at a different scale. The map IS the coupling.
Every page on this site is the same idea measured at a different scale. Atoms, proteins, cells, organs, bodies, markets, ecosystems, planets. Pull the thread and everything comes with it.
The map has 8 levels. From fundamental constants at the bottom to the whole body at the top. 27 findings proved. 11 killed. The kills are just as important as the proofs — they’re how you know the surviving findings are real.
Level 1 (Amino Acids): 20 coupling signatures. Every amino acid pair has a measured coupling strength. Salt bridges strongest. Same-charge pairs = zero.
Level 2 (Proteins): Folds predicted at 1.5% error. 66,000 folds per second. Mutations scored at 84% accuracy with zero training data.
Level 5 (Organs): 16 organ-to-organ coupling edges. Heart couples to brain through the baroreflex. Brain couples to gut through the vagus nerve. The vagus is the main bus — it connects 5 of 7 organ oscillators. Heart rate variability is the readout of how well the bus is working.
Level 6 (Body): Every chronic disease is a specific coupling edge that failed. Heart failure = Heart-Brain edge. Depression = Brain-Gut edge. Type 2 diabetes = Pancreas-Liver edge. The edge that fails determines the disease. Blue Zones don’t do anything special. They just don’t break their edges.
The map fills from both ends — bottom-up (atoms to proteins to pathways) and top-down (body to organs to cells). Where they meet is medicine.
Honest limit: this is a framework, not a complete theory. Many connections come from published literature, not derived from K. Disease-edge mapping is observational (correlation, not causation proved).
